I. OBJECTIVE
1. To provide guidelines in the proper disposal of garbage of the Production Area

III. GENERAL POLICIES
SPOILED PRODUCTS
1. Liquid:
• Identify the liquid product and state the reason of its disposal.
• Weigh all spoiled liquid items. Place it near the outside CR.
• Fill out a Disposal Slip, with serial number and duplicate copy. Forward it to the Department Head for approval and to the CEO to be noted.
• Upon approval, collect all liquid for disposal and pass it through a screen mesh. Place it in a blue plastic drum.
• Dilute spoiled liquid in this ratio: for every kilo of spoiled liquid, add 2 kilos of water.
• Dispose it in the drainage. As much as possible, only a maximum of 20 liters should be disposed, three times (3x) a week.
• The Department Head and the CEO must have a copy of the disposal slip.
2. Powder:
• Identify the powder product or raw material and state the reason of its disposal.
• Weigh all spoiled powder product or raw material. Place them in a dry place away from the area where it can contaminate other items.
• Fill out a Disposal Slip, with serial number and duplicate copy. Forward it to the Department Head for approval and to the CEO to be noted.
• Upon approval, collect all powder for disposal and place them into a blue plastic drum and liquefy it in this ratio: 1kg. of powder = 3 liters of water. It must be in a very thin liquid before disposing it into the drainage. As much as possible, only a maximum of 20 liters should be disposed, three times (3x) a week.
3. Spoiled Meat and Vegetables:
• There will be an assigned blue plastic drum for this waste.
• All waste or by-products from production such as vegetable skins, unwanted meat parts and spoiled finished products should be collected and placed in the container with cover and must be properly identified.
• This should be disposed every other day in order for it not to be rotten and contaminate other items, or to prevent from attracting insects or pest such as ants, cockroach, rats and worms.
• After disposal, the container should be cleaned with soap and water.
4. Sacks, Cartons, Plastic Gallons and Used Oil:
• Sacks. It must be properly folded and collected in one area.
• Cartons. Labels must be removed. It must be properly folded or knocked down and collected in an area that is not reachable by water.
• Plastic Gallons. Labels must be removed. It must be collected in a trash bag.
• All items must be disposed every Saturday.
5. Other Wastes (paper bags, plastic and office trash):
• All items should be placed into a blue plastic drum with cover.
• Garbage or trash must be brought out or disposed according to the schedule of garbage pick-up in the area. Trash bins should be properly marked as follows: Non Biodegradable (Di-nabubulok) and Biodegradable (Nabubulok).
• All paper bags and plastic labels should be removed immediately before putting it into the trash can.
