I. OBJECTIVE
1. To provide guidelines on the issuance and retrieval of uniforms
2. To provide a list of prescribed uniform and attire per employees
II. DEFINITION OF TERMS
1. Uniform – refers to the set of clothing prescribed by the company to its employees
III. GENERAL POLICIES
Issuance:
All employees of any status will be charged for the custom-made uniforms in the first and/or initial issuance. For “Probationary”, full cost will be shouldered by him/her. Once the status of the employee is upgraded to “Regular”, he/she will get a refund of 50% of the uniform cost. Maximum of two sets will be covered by the 50% refund.
Should a regular employee avail new set of uniform a year after the last set was availed, the company will shoulder 50% of the said uniform limited to one set only (one set per year with 50% subsidy by the company).
For newly-hired office employees, deduction of uniform will be made immediately every payroll until the full cost is achieved before ordering the sets of uniform.
Retrieval:
Since the uniform is tailored to the image, design and impression set by the company, they are considered property assets and therefore, employees are required to surrender their uniforms, whether the amount is partially or fully paid, at the time of resignation.
Service Crew Uniform:
Supervisors will be the one to request from Human Resource Department a set of uniform of every Service Crew who pass the Store Training. After a month, Service Crew should avail another new set of uniforms. The process of payment of uniforms will be salary deduction; one (1) set of uniform will be deducted in 1 cut off only. Since the uniform is tailored to the image, design and impression set by the company, it is considered property assets and therefore, Service Crews are required to surrender their uniform to the company at the time of end of contract or resignation.
Surrendering of company uniforms is part of exit clearance of the Service Crew.
