The training program for the Team Leader (TL) is as follows:

Day 1 – Day 2: Behavioral Program
I. New Supervisor Orientation Program
a. Job Description (signed by Human Resources Dept.)
b. Welcome from HRD
c. Code of Conduct Orientation (Rules and Regulations)
d. Values Formation (Core Values)
e. Customer Service Training
f. Branding Orientation
g. Leadership Training

Day 3 – Day 10/12: Technical Program
I. Basic Operations Training Program (Day 3 – Day 5)

c. Barista Training
d. Opening and Closing Procedures
e. CRM/POS Training

g. Food Safety/ 5S
h. Cart/ Inline Simulation

II. Management Reporting (Day 6 – Day 7)

III. On-the-Job Training: Cart- 3 days, Inline- 5 days (Day 8 – Day 10/12)

III. Assignment of 3 Outlets
During the Supervisory Training – Solo Shift, the Training Officer shall arrange an unannounced visit to the outlet to assess the performance of the TL. The Training Officer, together with the Operations Supervisor, shall evaluate the performance of the TL. It is documented through a performance evaluation.

A grade of 89% for Station Examination and Shift Certification is required for the TL to pass. Any grade below this percentage shall require a re-training period of two weeks in his/her store assignment. The Training Officer shall send a memorandum to the Operations Supervisor concerned regarding the result of the examination and schedule of re-examination.

All TL with an average grade that is below 89% shall take another examination and certification after the re-training period. If the TL still did not pass, he/she shall not be considered for the position.

At the end of the training, the Training Officer shall accomplish the Training Program Checklist and shall detail all the orientation programs that the TL has attended. The Training Officer shall forward it and other training files to HR Officer to endorse the TL. The checklist and other training files shall be filed in the Employee’s 201 file.
