I. OBJECTIVE
1. To provide troubleshooting guidelines on the different concerns surrounding the sealer
II. DEFINITION OF TERMS

III. GENERAL POLICIES
The following procedures must be done during listed circumstances:
A. Continuous rolling of film
1. Check the black print of the film if properly pointed at the sensor of the sealer. If not, re-insert it properly.
2. If #1 didn’t work, clean the sensor by wiping it. Turn off the sealer for a minute, and then turn it back on.
3. If #2 didn’t work, request for the maintenance staff to go to the outlet and check the problem.
4. If none of the above works, replace it with another unit. Pull-out the defective unit for repair.
B. Not sealing
1. Check the temperature if set at standard degree (150-180˚C).
2. If #1 didn’t work, check the black print of the film if properly pointed at the sensor.
3. If #2 didn’t work, clean the lower mold of the sealer. Turn off the sealer for a minute, and then turn it back on.
4. If none of the above works, replace it with another unit. Pull-out the defective unit for repair.
C. Not rolling of film
1. Check the black print of the film if properly pointed at the sensor of the sealer. If not, re-insert it properly.
2. If #1 didn’t work, clean the sensor by wiping it. Turn off the sealer for a minute, and then turn it back on.
3. If #2 didn’t work, check the washer and butterfly clamp if installed properly.
4. If none of the above works, replace it with another unit. Pull-out the defective unit for repair.
D. No power light
1. Check the plug if properly plugged in the power outlet. Unplug and plug.
2. If #1 didn’t work, check the wire and the connection.
3. If none of the above works, replace it with another unit. Pull-out the defective unit for repair.
E. Blast plug or wire
1. Replace it with another unit. Pull-out the defective unit for repair.
F. Overheats and burns the cups
1. Check the temperature if set at standard degree (150-180˚C).
2. If the temperature won’t change upon adjustment, replace it with another unit. Pull-out the defective unit for repair.
G. Grounded
1. Check the wire and the connection. Request for the maintenance staff to go to the outlet and check the problem
2. If maintenance staff can’t fix it on the spot, replace it with another unit. Pull-out the defective unit for repair.
As an alternative, Service Crew may use cup lid as cover for the drinks.
