I. OBJECTIVE
1. To define the importance and proper usage of the Company Sim
2. To define the role of the SOS in providing each outlet the necessary communication tool as support to the operation of the outlets
II. DEFINITION OF TERMS
1. Company Sim – a company-issued sim card to the outlet for the sole purpose of store operation-related transactions
III. GENERAL POLICIES
Each outlet is issued one (1) Sun Cellular sim card for company use. Company Sim must be used for attendance, reporting of concerns, reporting of daily sales, hourly sales and banking, and other necessary transactions.
Taking the Company Sim home is not allowed. It is prohibited to make personal transactions using it. It must be properly endorsed to the Service Crew (SC) of the next shift. It must be active all day or during the whole operation hours (opening to closing) and must be checked and monitored by the SC. SC is responsible for taking care of the Company Sim.
Lost Company Sim card will be automatically charge to the person who lost it. ATD will include the remaining load. ATD for load will be waived in case the load is expected to expire within 2-3 days.
SOS is responsible in monitoring and maintaining the availability of load in each and every Company Sim distributed to all outlets. Requisition of load is divided in two: every 13th and 28th of the month. For load requested every 13th, the load cards will be given by HRD on the 15th; while for load requested every 28th, the load cards will be given on the 30th or 31st. The load will be loaded to outlets on the day that SOS will receive the load cards from HRD regardless of the different expiration dates.
Reloading the Company Sim
SOS must monitor the expiry dates of load cards distributed to all outlets. As soon as the load expires, SOS must do the following procedure:
1. Call the Outlet Number.
2. Ask the SC to check the load balance of their Company Sim and to forward the text message to SOS. SOS will check the expiry date of the load. SOS will reload the outlet’s Company Sim on the day of its expiration. If the expiry date falls on Sunday or holiday; SOS shall secure the load on the last working day before the expiry date.
3. Inform SC on duty that load code is to be sent via text. Advise him/her to forward to the SOS number the updated balance inquiry message once it has been successfully loaded to Outlet Number.
4. Once informed, send the load code to the Outlet Number via text message. The format is as follows:
*220#[9-digit call card No.][5-digit call card Pin]#
5. Once received, SC will automatically dial the code and press “Call”. If successfully loaded, Outlet Number will receive a text confirmation including the updated load balance and new load expiry date.
6. SC will forward the text confirmation to SOS number for documentation and monitoring.
