III. GENERAL POLICIES
Visitors or guest must be notified by the guard on duty to HR personnel. Guard on duty will wait for the notification from the HR personnel if the visitor can enter the company premises or not. Once notified, apply the Standard Operating Procedure.
Guard on duty must always apply Standard Operating Procedure before letting anyone from entering and leaving the company premises:
• Ask the visitors, clients, suppliers, guests or strangers about their concerns, purpose and name of person they are looking for.
• Check the bags or things properly. If some deadly weapons or bladed/pointed weapons were checked, confiscate and report to HR personnel immediately. Do not let its owner to enter the company premises.
• Any noticeable suspicious behavior or actions must be reported to HR personnel immediately. HR personnel should report such to the CEO and COO.
• Always ask their government or company ID’s for validation of their identity.
• Make sure to have them log-in and out in guard’s logbook.
• Have them wear the visitor’s gate pass for recognition.
When visitors arrive, the guard on duty must inform the concerned personnel through phone call to verify the appointment. Concerned personnel from the department should fetch their visitors, clients, guests or suppliers from the guard house for assistance. Once fetched, visitors may enter the company premises and guard on duty must perform the Standard Operating Procedure.
No notification, no entry. Guard on-duty must be observant. Always close and lock the door’s gate. Guest, visitors, clients and employees who are under the influence of liquor or narcotics are strictly prohibited to enter the company premises.
