1. To provide guidelines on the proper storing and handling of items and products

 
II. DEFINITION OF TERMS

III. GENERAL POLICIES

Warehouse 1
• Grocery warehouse
• Stores all the priority or fast-moving items
• Stocks up to seven (7) days inventory of items

Warehouse 2
• Grocery warehouse
• Stores mostly of slow-moving items
• Stocking is based on number of days to be identified during ordering time; usually with three (3) days lead time

Warehouse 3
• Main storage of all priority or fast-moving items and some slow-moving items

Types of Items:
a. Proprietary Item – company-marked or labeled
b. Generic Item – purchased from suppliers and not marked or labeled by the company

Storing of items and products are by location: Dry and Wet. All items are categorized and organized on their respective location.

Racks must be properly labeled. Labels must be removable to accommodate flexibility in racks usage due to space constraints.
