I. OBJECTIVE

1. To provide guidelines during pest control activity

 
II. DEFINITION OF TERMS

1. Pest Control – refers to the collaborative effort between the Pest Control Vendors and each and every employee.

 
III. GENERAL POLICIES

Pest control is conducted in both Detroit and Sct. Tuason offices, monthly. Pest control schedule is at 6:00pm onwards. Employees must leave the head office before 6:00pm. Things such as drinking glasses, mugs, plates, spoons, forks, etc. must be kept in cabinets or drawers.

For Training Department: utensils, equipments, products and any items should be kept or well-covered for hygienic purposes.

Contractor personnel who will conduct the pest control must be monitored by the company’s authorized representative/s either from GJVI/Warehouse/Commissary office. It is the responsibility of the authorized representative/s to ensure that all documents, items, products, machines, electronic equipments or any company properties are well accounted for. The assigned authorized person who will monitor the said offices should not leave the company premises until the Pest Control activity is completed.

Daily Maintenance:
Each and every employee must cooperate in maintaining the office’s cleanliness to prevent pests from raiding the office. Before leaving the office, there must be no opened food container or unwashed utensils, plates, bowls, mugs and cups in the tables, inside the drawers, under the table and/or in the pantry. Food wastes must be properly disposed in the pantry’s trash bin by the concerned employee. Ensure that the trash bins are free of food wastes that may attract rats or cockroaches, before leaving the working area. Employees must not rely to the company cleaner to do all the cleaning at all times.
